Jessi Abramovitz, known digitally as Jessi Moonheart, is a Designer from the Chicagoland area. She is Spring 2022 graduate of Columbia College Chicago and currently works as a Private Label Assistant Designer at Kohl's Department Stores.
Jessi was first exposed to fashion through the influence of Japanese pop culture in the 90s. So inspired by the casual and ethereal aesthetics of the anime Sailor Moon, it was only later that she discovered that many character designs were based on runway outfits from the likes of Dior, Mugler, and Yves Saint Laurent. These influences (with a love for department stores) have had lasting effect on her elevated levels in technique, fabrication and taste.
Jessi never grew out of her love for Barbie fashion dolls, unicorns, or pastel shades of pink and purple. This shows deeply in her portfolio and person.

As a result of those early influences, Jessi's designs cater to girls and young women with a love for fun and fantasy, as well as all others who are empowered by a more magical and whimsical way of life.
